This thanksgiving was the first year away from home. I was a little sad but got to experience some wonderful lil munchkins..my nephews little kids since they are no longer babies. They are so cute. Alicia is a dancer and loves her grandma. Lil Freddy Jr is so serious but loves his sister Ali. Aliyah well what can I say about that lil girl, she has the cutest smile and loves to make faces. She is such a character. I remember my boyz just being little kids and how much fun that was, I wish I would have taken a step back and enjoyed those moments more. Watching the boyz enjoy them and play with them was nice. My kidz are awesome!! The only thing that I did not like was the freezing weather and Pala can really get cold. Thank you God for a great family.
Lots of Love

4th of July weekend was awesome. We got together like many weekends but this time to celebrate our cousin Alejandra. She had a wonderful quincenera and was glad to see so much family together. We enjoy each others company.. and had a blast dancing. Abrazos a las primas Irma & Cristy (Twister) for joining us and being part of this day. Mis abuelitos loved seeing everyone together and happy. Yvette you were a great fotographer. Roman looked handsome in his tux and was the hit of the valz..of course he had his own personal fan club..we know how to enjoy the real traditional quinceneras..homemade birria, tortillas, beans and rice and of course some cake right after. Next day we all had munchies, tostilocos, mangadas, fresas con crema and more cake. Our day could not be complete without a quick game of dominos (mesa de los hombres) and some poker (kids table,,ja ja ja).

All Star South Bay AYSO

Danny again got the opportunity to be part of the AYSO All Stars. Every season and every team is a great new experience. Watching the game, the goals being made and the excitement of the sideline give you that boost to keep encouraging the sport they love.. We won a tuff team this last weekend; game ran into penalty shots and hard work and dedication to exceed made the boyz winners this weekend. Great group of boyz.. Danny of course your biggest fan will always be Mom!! Dad too!!

CRUZ AZUL 'V' AMERICA QUALCOMM STADIUM

JULY 19, 2008 was an exciting day for Danny Boy; he actually got invited by AYSO Southbay Region 712 to participate in the opening ceremony for the Soccer Game betweem Cruz Azul and America. .. he walked into the field w/ one of his favorite soccer teams CRUZ AZUL; the game was awesome Cruz Azul was victorious against the powerful America Team; you saw so much excitement at the stadium that you did not know what was more exciting seeing all the crazy fans or watching the game. Once the game began the kids got to experience up close the whole soccer game and were right on the field. Even thought the game was over by 10p we stayed until they boyz were out of the stadium because they got to talk and ask for autographs from the players. Danny got a few; his undershirt was full of signatures; don't ask me whos because I just learned some of the game rules still have no idea of the players. For sure my favorite team is Danny's team.. Danny is #2 .. his goal has been to be a soccer player one day, we are looking forward to that day.
Nancy's visit (SD Zoo & IB) July 2008

My niece was down from N. County for a few days this summer, she wanted to be w/ the boyz. She really enjoys see Roman dance and Danny skate; we went to the beach a few times since Tio David was on vacation for a week also. The most fun was at the zoo; we really had to convince her to get on the baskets but overall she enjoy the day. I felt bad the trip was cut short since it was hot again and the SUN was just not being nice to me... I wish it was cooler but we still put in about 5 hrs of walking.. Nando also joined us on this trip. Nancy liked Monkeys and Bears; we actually saw a Hiena eating a rat; it was gross. Danny & Nando thought it was the coolest.

This is some of the view we get to experience in Tecate; so much beautiful land and lots of trails to ride.
4th of July weekend was a killer; extra hot// the boyz got to ride this weekend even thought we were all dying of heat. Water was our best friend, we have never been to Tecate during real HOT weather so this was an experience, but we will wait for cooler weather to go camping again. We saw some nasty insects Flying Roaches, que beetles ni que nada... they look like big fat roaches.. Yvette called them ferngullies.. The video is what I don't see the boyz doing, that was Danny Boy and Roman's friend Topher.. chamaco vago.. They also learned to play dominos while camping and found a new Mexican game to love besides Loteria.. hey they got to be pretty good. Even though we had a few car incidents, David's truka got a little sick and stopped running 20 min to the campsite.. and Big Danny's truck lost a pin in the axel.. it was good they got it fix sino another Universal Studio adventure (10 Mexicans in my envoy!!, actually 12) that would have been a fun ride home, all the kids tired and hungry.. Un poco de mucho, y mucho de muy poco.. Like my friend Patty used to say, what is new w/ the Hernandez Novela. Al Rato.. Bory
